Cask Me a Question
Want to know which cask ale is the most local, the darkest or the most hoppy? We?ve got a great selection from Conwy Brewery (who incidentally do a ‘brewer for the day’ course for the uninitiated) our team have picked their brains to the limit and are now cask-pro?s! With so many local experts our knowledge is expanding daily….. so go on Cask us a question?
Everything happens for a Reisling
We have some super duper independent wine specialists based the north Wales coast, who find us a really yummy and eclectic selection of wines from around the world.
Our favourite at the moment is a Pinot Noir from the Cielo family in Venezia – not only is it full of red berry and cherry flavours it?s also organic – good stuff…
Smooth like Velvet

have you ever tasted Barti Rum? Born in South Wale since 2017 Barti now offers a spiced and a cream rum, both Gold Worls Liqueur Award Winners. If you love an espresso martini then try a Barti Latte – as mellow as a West Wales sunset….
The best tonic in life has a large Gin with it
Y Stablau Gin List has gone large – with so many Welsh labels now distilling limited edition gins we?re adding some local flavours from Snowdonia to our list – look out for Foragers Black Label distilled just 11 miles away. The perfect balance of two hand foraged botanicals, juniper and sea blackthorn, for a smooth crisp marriage of flavours. ?Or MeryWen from North Star Distillery – the smallest distillery in Wales, who handcraft small batches of less than 30 bottles at a time using Welsh water from the foothills of Snowdonia.
A Crafty Tale
We?ve recently added a Craft Ale from Llandudno?s Wild Horse Brewing Co – Dave & Emma have been brewing ever since they caught the craft brew bug when living in Calgary for 4 years. Luckily for us they brought all their skills and knowledge back to North Wales. Their Palomino Pale Ale made it?s appearance alongside our regular crafty bottling selection in Autumn 2017 and we’ve since gone on to tap their Buckskin ‘a thirst quenching American Blonde with a Czech top bite’…
It was the Tortoise who won the race
Down a quiet lane in the heart of the Welsh countryside, an extraordinary alchemy is taking place. Carefully chosen and prepared botanicals and infusions are gently commingling in a traditional copper still as eight tortoises of varying size bimble about in the garden outside.
Cariad Gin & Vodka are made slowly and with great care and love, just like the tortoises that roam in the family’s gardens, they know that good things take their time

What’s Hot
Every cup tells a story and ours is from a passionate company in West Wales –
Teifi Coffee.
All their coffee beans are supplied within 10 days of roasting – now that’s fresh – no sitting on warehouse shelves for Teifi Beans! Their love of caffeine sprung up from the community around them so this company also donate back to community. For every kilo of coffee we buy from them they donate 50p to a local charity of our choice… now that’s a cup of coffee with heart
